A log cover is meant to protect your firewood from bugs and the weather while also making it look neat in appearance. A cover is like night and day difference, an eyesore that becomes something very neat and tidy.

If you have firewood then you need a log cover and that is for sure.  What I like about the covers is that it helps protect my wood from many different threats such as bugs, rotting and mold just like the rack itself.

The firewood rack cover has proved to last a long time (3years) the last one only made it one season because I bought a cheap one.  It  has saved us countless number of dollars and we are grateful.

To clean your log cover you need to use a mild soapy bucket of water and a rag. If the mold or mildew does not come off then I will add a little PineSol to the bucket and that normally works for me.

The thing to remember is to stay away from harsh and or abrasive cleaners. You should always try to keep you wood in the shade as best that you can in the summer time because of the ultra violet rays can take years of life from your firewood rack cover.
